Senior engineer – vim furnace

1. Role Overview
The Senior Engineer – VIM Furnace is responsible for leading and managing all Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace operations, ensuring high-quality metal production, process stability, equipment reliability, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. The role requires hands-on metallurgical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead furnace operators and technicians.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Furnace Operation & Process Control
Lead and supervise daily operations of the VIM furnace to meet production targets.
Monitor and control melting parameters, vacuum levels, alloy additions, and pouring operations.
Ensure strict adherence to metallurgical specifications and melting procedures.
Troubleshoot process deviations and ensure corrective actions.
B. Metallurgical Quality & Documentation (Needs to be coordinate with QC department)
Review and validate heat-wise chemistry, inclusion levels, and microstructure results.
