Senior Environmental & Permitting Consultant

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Environmental & Permitting Consultant for local offices in either **Shelton, Connecticut or Orange, Connecticut** . The role would provide oversight and assistance for utility-related operations and capital projects. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations including, but not limited to, the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The Lead Consultant will coordinate with local, state and federal regulators and other stakeholders such as the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP), State Historic Preservation Office, CT Siting Council, Department of Transportation (CT DOT), and others to ensure that our utility clients maintain continuous regulatory and permitting awareness and compliance.
