Senior Estimator

I’m currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company specialized in heavy welded fabrication projects. The company works on a wide range of industrial equipment used in sectors such as water treatment, transportation, mining and industrial processing.
They are looking for a Senior Estimator who understands the realities of shop-floor manufacturing and can become a strong technical resource internally.

Your Role
In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating and estimating custom metal fabrication projects ranging from repetitive production parts to larger industrial equipment. You will review RFQs coming from project managers and determine manufacturing costs, shop labor hours, subcontracting requirements and material pricing.
