EWP Designer (Engineered Wood Products) Location: Edmonton, AB

Overview Our client is looking for an EWP Designer to join their growing team. This role focuses on the design and layout of engineered wood product systems including I-joists, LVL, and beam layouts for residential and light commercial construction. They are open to strong local candidates in Edmonton, but will also consider experienced remote designers who can work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities

Design floor and roof systems using engineered wood products (I-joists, LVL, beams)

Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate layouts

Complete material take-offs and generate optimized design solutions

Ensure all designs meet building codes, engineering standards, and project specifications
