Job Scope / Position Summary

This position focuses on the daily operations of Claims Operations on Technical claims. Wherever possible and necessary, make recommendations to superiors to strive for improvement in productivity efficient and service quality.

Main Responsibility

• To ensure that each and every claim intimated is promptly and accurately registered in the computer system.
• To process and carry out initial assessment of claims which are delegated.
• To ensure all claims reserves are updated and settled claims are promptly paid.
• To promptly attend to and respond to all correspondence in respect of claims.
• To review adequacy of reserves and close file which are time barred or no longer pursue by claimant to write back the rese
• To ensure that recoveries from reinsurers, co-reinsurers, third parties or salvage buyers where applicable are promptly made and recovered.
