Senior Executive, Naval Architect

Job Description This position is for Pacific Carriers Limited (PCL), a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
1) Complete basic design drawing and document as required by Section Manager.
2) Communicate with other discipline engineers to achieve required information.
3) Understand and interpret client's requests, using knowledge of basic design concept and background knowledge of marine manufacturing. Read and interpret technical specification, Rules and regulations.
4) Competent on hull form / lines design, hydrodynamic performance calculation (NavCAD) for speed power prediction.
5) Familiar with model testing requirements and analysis test and able to interpret results.
6) Familiar with different types of vessel functions and arrangement, and competent on preparing Technical Specifications and General Arrangement.
