RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Technical Requirements
Perform quality inspections and in-process checks on mechanical and electrical components of rollingstock systems.
Verify compliance with engineering specifications, drawings, and job orders.
Complete quality documentation such as inspection reports, test data sheets, and sign-off sheets.
Ensure non-conformances are identified, documented, and reported promptly for corrective action.
Perform incoming inspections for parts, consumables, and overhaul kits before release to the floor.
Maintain proper documentation and traceability of inspected components.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to ensure quality checkpoints are effectively implemented.
Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.
Assist in root cause investigations and quality audits as required.
