Overview and purpose of the position*
The incumbent will lead the team to be responsible for the smooth running of the identified service points (Financial Counselling and Listing). He / She will manage, train and develop the team with the key aim of achieving and maintaining maximum accuracy, patient safety and care, as well as patient satisfaction.
Job responsibilities
-The incumbent will need to be well-versed in all healthcare-financing related information, and be familiar with all the IT systems that are required for patient care. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the team in the area of financial ounselling and listing of surgeries in the outpatient clinic, through: Providing accurate and detailed financial counselling to patients Booking of operating cases into the operating theatre scheduler accurately Ensuring that consumables required for OT cases are procured timely Putting in place measures to ensure excellent and accurate service delivery for our patie...
