(What the role is)
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join the Port Health Section of the Environmental Public Health Operations Group, Central Regional Office. You will play a diverse and critical role in protecting public health at Singapore's points of entry, operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with various stakeholders simultaneously.
(What you will be working on)
Key duties vary depending on the specific area of work assigned, but may generally include:
Processing applications for ship sanitation certificates and coordinating with relevant stakeholder to facilitate ship inspection operations.
Evaluating and issuing port health clearances or quarantine orders for inbound ships in accordance with International Health Regulations
Processing permits relating to the export/import of human remains in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act/Regulations.
