Senior Extension Officer (Extensive Livestock Systems)

As our Senior Extension Officer (Extensive Livestock Systems) you will:

• Lead the southwest Queensland GrazingFutures Prepare and Prosper project and support the Leading Sheep project to enhance the profitability, productivity, competitiveness and environmental sustainability of extensive beef, sheep, and goat industries. (
• Provide professional leadership in developing high performing teams through the direct supervision and mentoring of staff, creating measurable and attainable goals and building strong morale.
• Develop, organise and execute animal production, grazing land management and livestock business extension activities utilising the Extension Model of Practice, including the delivery of a wide range of community and stakeholder engagement events and extension materials in line with project deliverables.
