Senior External Affairs Specialist - GCC

Job Description

This is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring an accomplished professional to spearhead Pharma Government Affairs strategy across priority brands and strategic projects. Reporting directly to the Amgen Gulf GM, this position involves coordinating Amgen's engagement with trade associations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing stakeholder engagement approaches, mapping policy makers and influencers across various sectors and authorities, analyzing policies impacting Amgen's business strategy, and communicating these findings internally. Additionally, they will develop key messaging to influence policy makers and regulatory audiences while building relationships with advocacy leaders in the pharma sector environment.

To excel in this role one must possess 10-15 years' experience in external affairs area of the pharmaceutical industry with a proven ability to deliver success in similar roles.
