Senior Freight Buyer

The Senior Freight Buyer is responsible for negotiating and managing domestic and cross-border transportation services across North America, ensuring competitive costs, on-time deliveries, and high service levels with carriers and logistics providers. Key Responsibilities: Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements with carriers and transportation providers. Manage domestic and international freight operations across the U.S. and Mexico. Coordinate FTL shipments and ensure on-time delivery performance. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with logistics suppliers and carriers. Analyze transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Monitor logistics KPIs such as freight cost, carrier performance, and delivery metrics. Support sourcing activities, RFQs, carrier selection, and supplier evaluations.
