Senior Gas Originator

Overview

Main purpose: We are looking for a Senior Gas Originator with a proven track record to join the EU physical gas desk and work in close collaboration with the portfolio manager and traders to maximise value creation around Trafigura’s EU gas portfolio and further grow its geographical and functional scope to reach ambitious pnl targets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing and new markets for Trafigura and develop sound origination strategies to identify and capture commercial opportunities through flow generation and non-standard complex gas transactions.
• Grow Trafigura’s presence across Europe, building and maintaining excellent relationships with counterparties, industry associations, transport and storage operators etc. in new areas.
• Full end-to-end responsibility of originating, negotiating and executing complex structured transactions.
