About the role


As Senior Mine Geologist at our East Kundana mine site, reporting to the Superintendent – Mine Geology, you will provide leadership to a team of underground mine and project geologists.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing of in-mine exploration strategies.

  • Overseeing the underground Mine Geology function by planning and scheduling in-mine geological activities to ensure business plans are achieved safely.

  • Mentoring and supporting the professional development of the team.

  • Contributing to the EOM, quarterly and annual reporting cycles.

  • Assisting with forecast and budget cycles by tracking expenditure and managing geological drilling contractors.

  • Overseeing geological grade control processes to ensure a high standard of QAQC is maintained.
