Job Description
Our Queensland Government client is currently seeking a Senior Geospatial Science Officer to provide advice and consult as a technical expert for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in their Rail Division.
To be successful in this role you must have experience operating GIS software, converting raw data into spatial formats, and providing tailored mapping and GIS services. You should be capable of handling data conversions and reference system transformations, responding to inquiries through data queries and geocoding, and maintaining GIS databases. The role requires cartographic experience, with an emphasis on applying departmental guidelines to create consistent, high-calibre mapping products for both print and web platforms.
