Senior GIS Analyst

About the role

Join us as the Senior GIS Analyst in the City Design Branch and play a key role in delivering spatial services to support the policy agenda in the growing and vibrant City of Ipswich.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing senior specialist GIS mapping and spatial analysis relating to City Planning operations, including strategic land use planning, infrastructure planning, cultural heritage and other disciplines
• Providing expert technical advice in relation to spatial analysis, mapping, automation and modelling to support the effective and efficient operation of the Ipswich City Plan 2025, the Ipswich Population Modeller and other business tools and systems
• Undertaking recording and ongoing maintenance, updating, integrity and security of all GIS and other computer modelling information
