Description

Job Summary 
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure a good understanding of international and US taxing jurisdictions as it pertains to IEEE's international operations and assist with tax planning for IEEE conferences, interpreting, and implementing tax solutions that optimize the organization's tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities
The Tax accountant is primarily responsible for:

  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports.
  • Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors
  • Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve the process
  • Make sure that IEEE complies with local tax regulations
  • Coordinate with the respective stakeholders for tax preparation work
  • Accurately prepare tax reports as per the timelines
  • Monitor tax-related changes that affect the organization
