  Position Description 
 The Renewable Projects Development area within the ESB Engineering and Major Projects directorate provides project management and engineering services to enable development of renewable power projects for ESB and external clients. Renewable projects include Onshore wind, Offshore wind, Solar and Storage. Our wind projects range from onshore wind farms of c20 MW to major offshore wind farms of over 500 MW.
 A Senior Grid Engineer is required to provide technical support to ESB projects, both domestic and international.
  Key Responsibilities 
 Responsibilities will cover the items below: 
 Techno-economic grid connection feasibility studies for a range of renewable energy, thermal generation, storage and hybrid projects in Ireland and Great Britain.
 Preparation of grid connection applications for renewable energy, thermal generation and storage projects.
