Senior Interior Design Consultant

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of vehicle interior components (e.g., cockpit, door trims, seating, storage systems)


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality) to ensure design feasibility and compliance


• Conduct Failure Detection Analysis (FDA) and Design FMEA (DFMEA) to identify and mitigate risks in the design phase


• Work closely with CAE teams to validate structural integrity, ergonomics, and durability through simulation


• Create 3D models (using CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar) and 2D technical drawings with GD&T


• Support prototype builds, design reviews, and change management (ECR/ECN)


• Interface with Japanese HQ and European teams for design alignment and approvals
