Job Overview
The Senior IT Executive leads the technology strategy for a supermarket organization, ensuring reliable, secure, and innovative systems that support store operations, supply chain efficiency, merchandising, and customer experience. This role partners with executive leadership to enable growth, improve margins, and deliver seamless in-store and digital shopping experiences through effective use of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with grocery retail operations and business goals.
Support pricing, promotions, merchandising, and category management systems.
- Technology and Operations
Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, systems, scales, handheld devices, store networks, and back-office systems.
Ensure high availability and performance of store systems to minimize downtime and sales impact.
