Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A tertiary qualification in either Chemistry or Microbiology, or Chemical/Process Engineering or a related qualification is preferred for this role.

  • Previous Key Account Sales experience, having worked within the chemical, detergents, disinfectants, biocide or related industries, is essential. 

  • Previous experience in managing senior Key Accounts in the manufacturing industry is essential. 

  • Must have strong negotiation skills, with a focus on the total cost of ownership.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing and driving Distributors and Key Accounts on a national basis expanding their portfolio of products and customers within the chemical manufacturing and related industries. 

  • Developing and executing sales strategies for both formulators (detergent/disinfectant) and large industrial chemical and related clients.
