Senior Lawyer

Job Description

Senior Lawyer based in São Paulo, Brazil or Bogotá, Colombia.

Purpose

The position will manage legal matters in LATAM for the Innovative Medicine Business, making relevant connections with local and global GLO teams and providing legal advice to COEs, IBVTs and the Innovative Medicine Regional organization. The role requires a generalist profile capable of handling various legal areas (antitrust, IP, contracts, regulatory, etc.) to further business interests regionally while protecting the company’s innovation, rights, interests and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Act as an adviser to the business organization in identifying strategies on regulatory and IP matters to protect innovative products, including coordination with IP and Litigation global teams, GLO leaders in LATAM clusters, and business and functional teams to develop governance and IP strategies, leveraging technology for safer access to information.
