Brief Description

The successful candidate must meet the following criteria to be appointed: 1.Be able to teach land management, planning law, and municipal governance. Having experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: spatial planning and urban design, community participation. 2.A requirement of at least 5-10 years working experience in the planning profession in some areas of work listed in one above, such as in development applications, IDP and SDF’s and planning policy will be an advantage. 3.Undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching experience.4.Capacity to supervise research reports at a tertiary level or candidate planners, preferably should have a record of research supervision at honours and master’s level.5.Evidence of organisational and/or leadership skills: experience of mentoring students and transformation into institutions of higher learning will be an advantage.6.Good ICT skills, especially the ability to navigate the ter...
