Job Knowledge
, Skills and Experience Head of Department
Doctorate in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years' experience as a Senior Lecturer.
The 5 years mentioned above must include 2 years' management experience related to the functions of a HOD (i.e academic management;curriculum development; quality assurance and accreditation processes; financial and HR management in a Department).
Research and supervision experience commensurate with the level of Senior Lecturer or above

A base qualification Chemistry or equivalent qualification
At least 4 years' relevant working experience, which must include two years teaching experience in Chemistry at the Higher Education level
