Senior Lecturer/Lecturer: Economics, Analytical/Quantitative Research Methods
  • For Senior Lecturer level, a PhD in Economics, Development Studies, Governance, or a closely related field is required.
  • For Lecturer, a Master's degree is required.
  • Demonstrate ability to teach: (i) Economics, Public Finance, and Performance Budgeting; (ii) Analytical, Statistical, and Quantitative Research Methods; and as an added advantage, (iii) broader public sector subjects such as Governance, Leadership, Political Economy, Public Policy, and Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Publication and supervision experience commensurate with the level of appointment are required.
  • An active research agenda focused on the public sector, including but not limited to governance, political economy, socio-economic challenges facing the African continent, and related policy or governance interventions, is a requirement.
