Senior Lecturer/Lecturer: Peace and Security Studies, International Relations, and Development
  • For Senior Lecturer level, a PhD in Peace and Security, International Relations, and Development is a necessity.
  • For Lecturer level, a Master’s degree in any of these fields is required.
  • Demonstrate ability to teach: (i) Security modules; (ii) Public Policy; (iii) Political Economy; and as an added advantage, (iv) any of the public sector discourses like Decision-making, Management and Governance.
  • Publication and supervision experience commensurate with the level of appointment are required.
  • An active research agenda focused on the public sector including but not limited to security, peace, international relations, political economy, and development as well as socio-economic challenges on the continent and their envisaged interventions, is a requirement.
