Senior- Level Purchase & Stores

Job Responsibilities in brief:

• To develop effective systems and procedures for professional management of the Purchase & Stores functions to relive the promoters from these activities and to support the increasing volumes.
• After stabilizing Purchase & Stores functions, to develop the strategy for implementing Supply Chain Management (SCM) in line with modern management practices and as required by key customers.
• Developing reliable supplier base for ferrous scrap, ferro alloys, refractories & other steel plant consumables and electrical and mechanical spares and components and for various services including transport contracts.
• Review and rationalization of supplier base retaining only the reliable suppliers to drive quality and optimize cost.
• Develop and implement suppliers’ quality management activities KPIs.
