+ Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable/substitute items and recommend any modification necessary to the equipment.

+ Asses and advice on the impact of equipment support program efforts Coast Guard wide.
+ Apply ten (10) elements of logistics to SBPL supported assets.
+ Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for systems and equipment supported by SBPL.
