Job Description

The role

As Senior Manager, External Communications, you will lead a high‑performing team responsible for ASIC's external voice. You will provide strategic counsel to senior leaders and guide media engagement that support ASIC's corporate positioning and strategic priorities.


You will be accountable for:

  • Providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior leaders on media engagement strategies, plans and messaging, including in sensitive or high‑pressure situations.

  • Leading and developing a high‑performing media team responsible for proactive engagement and responsive issues management, while maintaining consistently high standards.

  • Supporting the Commission, Chief Executive Officer and other senior leaders to engage effectively with media and external stakeholders through high‑quality briefing and preparation.
