Senior Manager Land Use and Spatial Insights

The Opportunity
The Senior Manager is responsible for leading and managing a dynamic team working across VicGrid's business to deliver land use planning and spatial analysis insights and advice. This integrated land use planning and spatial team is responsible for delivering strategic land use assessments for the Victorian Transmission Plan and developing land use constraints modelling for VicGrid's transmission projects. The Senior Manager is also responsible for the establishment of VicGrid's enterprise technical Geographic Information System (GIS) frameworks and business capability, ensuring VicGrid effectively utilises GIS to drive strategic outcomes with strong data governance.
This is a strategic and technical role that requires an ability to design and implement strategic planning initiatives and spatial analysis products that integrate land use and landscape values into the design of Victoria's energy system – from renewable energy zones (REZs) to the design and dev...
