Senior Manager of Social Services

Hospice of San Joaquin is the oldest not-for-profit hospice in the county, with over 45 years of experience.  We serve all of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties.  We are committed to continuing to be the leader in ensuring the quality of the journey, from serious illness to the end of life, and to honor our mission by honoring life and ensuring that patients and their Caregivers are the focus of everything we do.  We are seeking a Dynamic, self-motivated Senior Manager of Social Services (SMSS) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and supports our mission.  This is a Full-Time position reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).

 

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing the psychosocial components of Hospice of San Joaquin’s program of care and supervising staff assigned to provide social services, including social workers, chaplains, and the bereavement department.
