We are supporting a well-established energy & power platform in appointing a Risk Management Lead to oversee market, credit, and operational risk across trading and commercial activities.
This role works closely with trading, commercial, finance, and senior leadership teams, ensuring risk is actively managed while enabling growth in a regulated power market environment.
Key focus areas
Market & trading risk exposure (spot and bilateral power markets)
Credit risk for commercial customers and trading counterparties
Risk limits, reporting, escalation, and governance
Regulatory and operational risk oversight
What we're looking for
8+ years' experience in energy/power, utilities, commodities trading, or financial markets
Hands-on exposure to market and/or credit risk in a commercial setting
Comfortable working alongside trading and commercial teams
