Senior Manager, Safety and Prevention

Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $60.75/Hr. - CAD $87.33/Hr.

Summary Reporting to the Director, Occupational Health and Safety, the Senior Manager, Safety and Prevention:

Develops, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for the Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Violence Prevention, and Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention programs in alignment with the strategic goals and objective of Providence Health Care (PHC).

Develops and administers the implementation of safety and prevention programs, initiatives and services aimed at promoting a proactively healthy and safe environment for staff, volunteers, physicians, visitors and patients/residents while ensuring compliance with and interpreting legislation, organizational policies and standards, collective agreements and other legal obligations of PHC to ensure consistent and accurate application/administration.
