Senior Manager/Manager, Regional Container Portfolio Management

Job Description

• Lifecycle management of the global container fleet related to on and off-hires.
• Strategic decisions on container types, sizes, and ownership models to support business needs.
• Governance of portfolio planning and investment priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Global Container Portfolio Management in developing and executing the global container portfolio management strategy.
• Build strong relationships and partnerships with local leasing companies, liner companies, larger depots and manufacturers.
• Lead or support local negotiations.
• Define and ensure execution of phase-in/out requirements and strategy in line with the Global Container Portfolio Management execution plans.
• Provide input to budgets.
• Establish and monitor phase in/out targets per area aligned with global flow plan and surplus/deficit locations as well as with global phase-out targets. ...
