Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary


Powell is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Northlake, Illinois! Our Manufacturing Engineers are the process owners that design and improve processes and procedures used for the manufacturing of Powell engineered to order products. This position is required to identify and implement processes that improve the safety, quality, and operating efficiency in a manner that supports the objectives of the Business Unit.

Job Description

• Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
