Senior Constructive Designer (Permanent)

Location: Victoria, BC or Ottawa, ON or Halifax, NS

Expected Salary: $80,000 to $98,000

Final base salary will be determined by the Company’s discretion based on skills, experience and internal equity.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions with a structural focus for the integration of new subsystems/components into existing systems.
• Support the production of technical drawings and specifications to support the implementation of engineering changes on board Victoria Class Submarines and other naval/marine platforms.
• Conduct independent technical studies and assessments of marine structural elements and analyze recommended changes to assess the design impact of proposed changes.
• Check design and drawing outputs from junior designers, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
