Senior Material Planner

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Planning & Forecasting

2. Plan and forecast material needs based on production schedules and sales projections.

3. Review consumption trends to ensure material requirements are accurate.

4. Generate and manage MRP outputs to support procurement and production.

5. Inventory Control

6. Maintain the right balance of inventory to avoid shortages or excessive stock.

7. Monitor slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend actions.

8. Oversee cycle counts and support stock take activities.

9. Supplier & Procurement Coordination

10. Work closely with the procurement team on purchase orders and delivery timelines.

11. Track supplier performance in terms of lead time, quality, and reliability.

12. Highlight potential supply risks and collaborate to resolve delays or shortages.
