Senior Materials Technician

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking to appoint a Laboratory Supervisor / Senior Materials Technician at our NATA-accredited laboratory located at Marleston.

We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is physically fit and possesses a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will have an impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, risk-aware, and safety-driven.

Your new job:

• Perform ready-mix and quarry materials testing in our lab as well as in the field
• Carry out equipment checks and calibrations
• Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained
• Daily use of computers and Laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• Lead our testing team and assist the technical team

About you:

• Previous experience in a similar role (CMT is preferred but not essential)
