Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning and coordinating engineering project work and design activities to ensure that project goals/objectives are accomplished within agreed deadline.
Assists with mechanical technical design reviews.
Reviews project proposals or plans to input into time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, resource requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Coach and mentor junior staff to become the next generation of engineers and leaders.
Perform HVAC calculations but not limited to Cooling and Heating Load and Mechanical Ventilation calculations. But rather step by step and detail approach as per BSRIA design framework.
Perform Area take-off and space and volume analysis.
Formulate and production of Room by Room HVAC Performance Criteria with reference to Project Design Brief and Governing Mechanical standard/code.
