Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Summary of the Job

Responsible for the mechanical design tasks of any given project and ensure that the delivery of the systems are according to customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

· Prepare design concepts, proposal writeups, design calculations etc according to customer specifications and requirements & compiling estimated system costs at RFQ stage.

· Lead the qualification of new components/modules/systems from new suppliers.

· Execute design according to customer requirements and complete project tasks within given schedule and budget.

· Review and confirm technical specifications with customer.

· Generate assembly, pneumatic schematic and detail drawings according to Sys-Mac drafting standards.

· Provide BOM, Material Requirement List, drawings and components information for manufacturing and purchase process.

· Print drawings to verify the correctness before manufacturing process.
