Senior Mechanical Draughtsman

A specialist water treatment company delivering engineered water and wastewater solutions to industrial and infrastructure clients is looking for a Senior Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team in Somerset West.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about turning complex engineering concepts into practical, build-ready designs.

Requirements: 

• A Mechanical Engineering qualification, or 3–5 years’ relevant draughting experience (water and wastewater experience is highly advantageous)


• Strong experience in mechanical design and assemblies


• Proficiency in AutoCAD or BricsCAD and 3D modelling software (SolidWorks preferred)


• Working knowledge of pipe routing, sheet metal, and manufacturing drawings


• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills


• The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across disciplines
