Senior Mechanical Engineer (La Brea)

Overview / ResponsibilitiesMassy Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the preparation of Mechanical Engineering deliverables, such as:- Originate and check discipline deliverables.
- Assist the Discipline Lead Engineer and/or Discipline Function Lead as directed.
- Produce solutions that are safe, cost effective, fit for purpose and add value to both Massy Wood Group and the client.
- Ensure operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design.
- Provide discipline input to procurement and construction activities.
- Conduct surveys, both onshore and offshore, to determine information to allow execution of scopes of work.
- Attend technical meetings if delegated by the Discipline Lead Engineer.
- Attend Design Reviews, HAZOPs, Constructability Assessments etc. if delegated by the Discipline Lead Engineer.
