Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Plumbing & Fire Protection Design) Location: Qatar Department: MEP / Engineering Experience: 1012 years 1. Purpose of the Role To lead the design, coordination, and delivery of plumbing and fire protection systems for construction projects, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality engineering solutions aligned with project requirements and international standards. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Plumbing System Design Lead design of domestic water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, and irrigation systems. Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection (pumps, tanks, heaters, etc.). Prepare design layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings. B. Fire Protection System Design Design firefighting systems including sprinkler systems, standpipes, fire hose reels, and fire pumps.
