Senior Mechanical Engineer

Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Equipment & Automation) for our NPI department to be based in Ambu Global Hub, in Penang, Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing equipment, testing equipment and automation systems with robotics integration to enhance efficiency and precision.
2. Review detailed CAD models, engineering drawings and BOMs from vendors on equipment and automation systems and challenge the designers and/or provide alternative solutions for the models.
3. Provide suitable mechanical components (pneumatic valves, actuators, motors, sensors, etc.) to be used in equipment and automation systems.
4. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for new equipment to ensure they meet specifications, performance standards, and regulations.
