Overview

High Voltage Engineer / Senior Authorised Person (SAP)

The candidate will have a good understanding of power engineering, providing safety from the system, good knowledge of all types of HV switchgear, testing and commissioning, a background as a senior authorised person is essential. In addition, a good understanding of project management including costing, planning, delivery, profit and loss control will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage High Voltage projects end–to–end, including P&L, budgeting, and commercial oversight.
• Provide safety from the system and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear, cables, and transformers.
• Lead testing and commissioning of HV installations and protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with HV/LV Safety Rules and all company policies.
• Drive efficiency, cost control, and profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
