There are 25 acute medical beds, a 24 hour Emergency department, onsite radiology and an operating theatre. a small, friendly regional site offering a calmer case mix, strong nursing support, and a genuinely collaborative team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant seeking consolidated dates, a balanced workload, and a well-supported rural experience.
Roster: On site in ED from 0800–1700 and on-call for the remainder of the 24-hour period. Accommodation and travel included.
This role would suit a highly experienced senior consultant who is confident working with remote support models. The locum will have direct assistance from the Duty Medical Supervisor (DMS) via phone, providing an added layer of clinical support and reassurance.
