  • Located off the mainland of South Australia a 45 minute ferry ride from Cape Jarvis, this island is known for amazing wildlife and nature reserves and has approximately 5,000 residents
  • This hospital provides acute medical services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local GP's to Specialist surgical, obstetrics and outpatients
  • GP Clinic (3 days/week), GP Emergency (2 shifts/week) & Supervision of GP Registrars, Interns & MD3 Students

    A Eastern SA hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice

    Role Overview:
    The locum role includes a combination of GP clinic sessions and 24 hour ED on call coverage supporting the Medical Clinic and the Island Health Service.
    Remuneration:
    •GP Clinic: $1,500 per day
    Clinic hours 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
    • ED On Call: $2,200 per 24 hour shift (8am – 8am)
