Senior Mine Waste Engineer (Winnipeg)

We are seeking a Senior Technical Leader to join our Mine Waste team. The role involves guiding complex projects, advancing secure, sustainable mining practices across Canada, and influencing strategy for the industry‑leading mining practice.

Location: Mississauga, Ottawa, or Thunder Bay

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, review, and optimization of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and mine water management systems.
• Oversee and integrate advanced geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geochemical investigations into major mining programs.
• Provide strategic guidance on environmental planning, permitting pathways, regulatory engagement, and risk‑management frameworks.
• Mentor, coach, and uplift teams of junior, intermediate, and senior engineers, building technical depth and excellence across the group.
