Senior Naval Architect/ Structural Engineer

The current position is for an engineer with a strong academic record, preferably a master's degree or higher, with an emphasis on Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering for offshore structures for Renewables and Energy markets.  The engineer will work within a large, supportive team on the analysis of all types of offshore structures for in-place conditions and for marine operations, such like float-over installation projects.

With the support of experienced team members, the engineer will develop a strong initial grounding in the discipline and gradually develop expertise in a wide range of static & dynamic analysis, fatigue analysis, and advanced nonlinear analysis.  There will also be an expectation develop and use programming and coding skills to contribute to the section's Digitalisation initiatives, such as Hybrid Twin and Digital Twin services. As such a proactive approach to personal development will be important.
