Job Description

We’re building a fast-growing retail-tech SaaS platform. 
6 Month contract outside IR35 and fully remote 
We’re looking for engineers with strong experience building high-volume, distributed backend systems. 
Core Stack .NET (backend-heavy environment)  
Elasticsearch  
Experience handling millions of records per week  
Strong database performance optimisation at scale 
API gateways & webhooks 
Caching strategies 
Saga patterns (distributed transaction management) 
Additional Experience Python  
Strong testing culture 
GitHub Actions 
Terraform 
Willingness to support migration from Azure → AWS
